LinkStar solution provides point-to-multipoint broadband duplex circuits to virtually anywhere in the world. Utilizing a hub-and-spoke network topology, LinkStar provides connectivity from a central site to multiple remote sites via broadband inbound and outbound carriers. Bandwidth can be dynamically assigned on an as-needed basis, allowing all remotes equal access to the satellite resource. Or, certain remote sites may have bandwidth permanently assigned to ensure that bandwidth is always available for mission-critical communication. Also, the LinkStar product uses a powerful QoS mechanism that prioritizes traffic depending on application requirements and includes TCP/IP acceleration techniques to overcome the 400 Kbps TCP bottleneck.

LinkStar supports a mix of data, voice and video applications on a single platform. The platform takes advantage of the inherent strength of the satellite transmission mechanism - its broadcast nature. The ability to reach a large geographic region with minimal bandwidth allows LINK to provide the perfect solution for enterprises, educational institutions, government agencies, and carriers that require efficient, cost-effective point-to-multipoint IP communications.
